    How to Use

    1. Enter a product word or phrase, such as "ceramic coffee mug". A single word works too.
    2. Optionally open Advanced options and add details that truly describe your product. Your details are used first.
    3. Select Find Keyword Opportunities and read the reason shown under each phrase.
    4. Use the angle buttons, search box, minimum words and sorting to narrow the list. Your selections stay in place while you filter.
    5. Select "Explore on Etsy" to open a normal Etsy search in a new tab and judge relevance and competition yourself.
    6. Save promising phrases, copy them, or copy them as Etsy tags. Export CSV uses your selected keywords if any are selected. Otherwise it uses all filtered results.

    Practical example searches

    Keyword specificity versus verified competition

A broad phrase such as "dog collar" covers many products. Adding a real detail such as a material, a recipient or an intended use describes your product more precisely. That can help you find phrases that match what a buyer is looking for.

Specificity is not proof of low competition. A detailed phrase can still have many listings or almost no searches. The specificity score here counts descriptive details and is not an opportunity score. Competition is verified only when a data provider supplies it, along with its source and observation date.

Ways to check a phrase yourself

    • Open the Etsy search and read the top listings. Do they match your product?
    • Check whether the results are mostly the same kind of item you make.
    • Note how many listings appear and how similar they look. Repeat the check on different days.
    • Compare a few variations before you commit to a title or tag.

    FAQs

    Are these real Etsy searches?

No. Phrases are generated from your input and built-in rules for common product groups. They are not Etsy autocomplete suggestions or observed searches.

Why do I see ideas I did not type?

Ideas marked "Group idea" or "General idea" come from built-in rules, such as common recipients or occasions for that kind of product. They are starting points. Remove ones that do not fit with the angle buttons, the include/exclude fields or by simply ignoring them.

Why does it say "Competition not verified"?

This tool does not scrape Etsy or invent numbers. Without a supporting data provider, competition is unknown.

What does the tag-length check mean?

It compares each phrase with a tag limit of 20 characters and 13 tags per listing. These limits are set in the tool's code and Etsy may change them, so confirm them in Etsy's listing editor.

Will these keywords improve my rankings or sales?

There is no guarantee. Rankings and sales depend on many factors, including listing quality, photos, price and shop history.

    Where are saved keywords stored?

In your browser's local storage on this device. If storage is blocked, they last only for the current page view.
